School Groups

Currently Year 7 entrants are placed into one of 6 teaching groups which are balanced according to abilities and skills. Under normal circumstances a teaching group will not exceed 27 students. Most teaching groups remain mixed-ability throughout Years 7 - 11 but setting does occur in some subjects. The average size of teaching groups in Years 7 - 11 is 23 students.
