Second Highest Achieving Comprehensive in Essex

We were very pleased to see that, for the second year running, we have been recognised as the second highest achieving comprehensive in Essex in the school GCSE performance tables that were published on 26th January. NFGS was ranked second for the important indicator that measures students’ performance in English, Maths, Science, Languages, History and Geography, which is termed the ‘English Baccalaureate’. We have also come in the top 5 comprehensive schools in Essex for a consecutive year in terms of the percentage of students achieving 5 A*-C including English and Maths.
